Callaway's fantastic Paradym irons
We love getting the latest clubs in our hands and reaping the rewards of all the latest tech. Today we’re going to walk you through the fantastic Callaway’s Paradym range of irons. They don’t just look dazzling, they perform phenomenally. So what exactly makes this year’s Callaway range so special?
When you first set eyes on the Paradym clubhead, you see what all the hype is about. The head is forged for a sleek appeal from front to back that'll inspire confidence that you can hit any shot you want/need to. The face itself is precision-milled with cutting grooves to give you excellent ball contact. Turning the club over, we can see the deep blue and gold flavour on the texture just below the tungsten weight. It’s sleek and shining, but what kinds of dynamic tech do we have just below the glossy surface?
The main talking points
The Paradym range was made with a confident ball-striker in mind, so if you like to grip it and rip it, they’ll get you the results you need. The tungsten weights are placed to give you better launch and generate faster ball speeds to get maximum distance. The body actually features a hollow frame construction design to give you more support and stability for a better feel. Callaway has implemented Urethane Microspheres behind the clubface to make contact feel as smooth as possible, and the acoustics made when you strike the ball is really pleasing too. All-in-all, a fantastic iron.
The tungsten weight is part internal, part external and the added 67g of weight really evens out the clubhead that give you oodles of confidence to really go for the green every time you’re down the fairway. The club also features a pre-worn leading edge to cut through turf easily should you find yourself in thicker grass.
As we’ve already stated, the Paradym is made for consistent and assertive players that want the most of what their clubs have to offer. Features like the tungsten weighting and Urethane centre will give you the distance to conquer the course.
If you’re looking for all the great features packed into the Paradym irons but with added forgiveness, you can’t miss out on the Paradym X. The head on the X has a thicker topline at address to give you the confidence to go for the ball. The sole is also bigger and more forgiving so you’ll be pulling off fewer mishits. If you want to improve your game these irons will help you cut your handicap down.
